Trip Overview

This is a  Langtang Gosainkund lake / Helambu Trekking that takes us to the world’s most beautiful valleys through the Rhododendron and Pine forests up to the Lake of Gosainkunda which is considered the most sacred lake for the Hindus and Buddhists. During the full moon day in August thousands of Hindus and Buddhist pilgrims visit the lake to pay religious homage every year. On the way back we follow Laurebina La Pass and down towards Helambu, the largest Sherpa village. The trail ends at Sundarijal and then drive to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Drive Kathmandu to Dhunche (2030m).
Day 02: Trek to Syabru Bensi.
Day 03: Trek to Lama Hotel.
Day 04: Trek to Langtang.
Day 05: Trek to Kyanging Gompa.
Day 06: Exploration day.
Day 07: Trek to Shin Gompa.
Day 08: Trek to Gosainkunda Lake (4380m).
Day 09: Trek to Ghopte.
Day 10: Trek to Kutumsang.
Day 11: Trek to Sundarijal via Chisapani.
Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 01     Arrival in Kathamandu and transfer to Hotel
Day 02     Sightseeing around Kathmandu.
Day 03.     Kathmandu to Thulo Bharku by bus / 8hrs
Day 04.     Thulo Bharku to Shyabru Goan
Day 05.     Shyabru Goan to Sing Gumba
Day 06.     Sing Gumba to Gosainkunda Lake
Day 07.     Gosainkunda Lake to Ghopte vie Gosain pass
Day 08.     Ghopte to Melamchi Goan
Day 09.     Melamchi Goan to Kakani
Day 10.     Kakani to Melamchi pul 3hrs by walking then by bus to Kathmandu
Day 11.     Free Day
Day 12.     Departure From Kathmandu

Price For The Trip: The total cost for the trek or tour you decide you want to do will depend on several different factors. The type of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu will make a difference to the overall cost (budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The camping trek and teahouse trek made a difference in the cost. The number of guides and porters required will also affect the total cost of your trek. For these reasons, the same trek/tour can vary in price quite substantially.

Tea-house Lodge Trek Cost Includes:

• All land transportation: Airport /Hotel/Airport & trekking pick up & drop.
• 1 Full day 4/5 hours sightseeing with professional English speaking tour guide & temple entry fees.
• 4 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at Bed & Breakfast basis.
• 3 Major meals; B/L/D (by Lodge menu) and accommodation at best available teahouse lodge during the trek en-route.
• 1 English speaking trekking guide, necessary Sherpa & Porters.
• Life insurance for all support crews and their daily wages.
• Per member 25 Kg. luggage allow while in the trekking.

Camping Trek Cost Includes:

• All land transportation: Airport /Hotel/Airport & trekking pick up & drop.

• 4 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at Bed & Breakfast basis.
• All 3 major meals Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner (provide continental food) and accommodation in tented camp during the trek en-route.
• 1 English speaking trekking guide, 1 Cook, Kitchen boys, necessary Sherpa & Porters.
• Life insurance for all support crews and their daily wages.
• Per member 25 Kg. luggage allow while in the trekking.
